On windows, when you go to add a network printer it should find the printer labelled HP laserjet 400 MFP or
similar. If it does then your work here is done. Click ok to add the printer and remember to select the correct printer in the print dialog box.

However, if for some reason your computer doesn’t find it, use the following steps.
Select “The printer I wanted isn’t listed” and then select the box next to “add a printer using an IP address or hostname” then next.
For device type select TCP/IP device, for hostname or IP address type 192.168.1.77 and leave “Query the printer……” selected.
It may ask you about keeping a current driver or installing a new one, Install a new one if you can. That should be it!
It should then show up in your printer list and you can go about your merry business.
