This accessibility statement applies to thinqtanq.co.uk. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, you should be able to:

How accessible this website is
We’re partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. Details of the known issues and our plans to fix them are set out below.

Known accessibility issues & interim measures

  1. Browser zoom may be restricted on some pages
    What’s affected: Some templates include a viewport setting that can limit pinch-zoom.
    Impact: This may make it harder for low-vision users to enlarge content.
    Interim measures:

  • Use built-in device or OS magnification (Windows Magnifier, macOS Zoom, iOS/Android accessibility zoom).

  • Ask us for large-print or alternative-format content (see contact details below).
    Planned fix: Remove any zoom restrictions across all templates and child-theme headers. We are also investigating whether a plugin is injecting an additional viewport tag and will disable or override it site-wide.

  1. Cookie banner dialog name (third-party component)
    What’s affected: Our cookie-consent tool’s “reopen/revoke” dialog may not announce a clear title to screen-reader users.
    Impact: Screen-reader users might not hear the purpose of the dialog immediately.
    Interim measures:

  • A clearly labelled “Cookie settings” link is available in the footer to manage preferences.

  • If you prefer, contact us and we’ll set your preferences manually.
    Planned fix: We’ve raised this with the vendor and will deploy their accessibility update or a local patch as soon as it’s available.

What we’re doing to improve accessibility

  • Ensure dialogs, including cookie-consent components, have clear accessible names and are announced correctly to assistive technologies.

  • Continue regular testing using automated tools (Lighthouse/axe) and manual checks (keyboard use, screen-reader naming) before and after site updates.
